You may enjoy reading BOOK REVIEW: After the Fall by Nicole Gelinas.
It is nice to read a book review that lacks much of an agenda of its own, that teaches the reader things (such as that all the bank failures during the first part of the Great Depression only affected 2% of aggregate deposits), and that summarizes an important topic in a readable way.
I heartily endorse the "let them fail" approach advocated by Ms. Gelinas, though of course in an appropriate, managed way.
Since we all die, why not Citigroup, AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc.?
